During our family vacation at La Maison Demers, we found the charming hotel to be a gem nestled in the heart of Vieux Quebec. The cozy family-run establishment exudes warmth and hospitality, making it a welcoming haven for travelers seeking a home away from home. Mr Mark, the owner, was not only gracious but also went out of his way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. His personal touch and dedication to the hotel, which has been in the family for over five decades, added a unique charm to our experience.While the limited breakfast may not cater to everyone's preferences, we found it to be a sufficient start to our days exploring Old Quebec's enchanting streets. The shared bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, alleviating any concerns we initially had. Our spacious room on the second floor provided a comfortable retreat after long days of sightseeing.Being in close proximity to the Fortifications of Quebec National Historic Site and the iconic St Louis Gate, we were able to immerse ourselves in the rich history and culture of the area. Exploring the charming streets and alleys of Old Quebec, we stumbled upon the breathtaking Terrasse Dufferin Slides and reveled in the stunning views of the river and surrounding forest along the trails.La Maison Demers offered us a delightful stay with its family-friendly atmosphere and convenient location near various attractions. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel, and we look forward to returning to create more cherished memories in this picturesque setting.
